I just got a new phone today and found out that my company won’t let me put my calendar on it. I’m the most senior engineer in my org and integral in the delivery of several important applications, but apparently it’s “a security vulnerability” to put my work calendar on a personal device (like it’s been for 2+ years).
It doesn’t seem like something that should matter, but it somehow is the final-straw deal-breaker for me. I LIVE off my calendar and it’s a hugely important piece of my process and workday. It’s really the lack of trust from them that was the real punch in the gut, and so I'm just sitting at my desk crying and just so done.
So what’s the dumbest deal-breaker you have? (Dumb-seeming, but important to you)
Side note: anybody need a GraphQL expert? lol
