When BTC will hit 0.01? I really think it's going to happen in the next 5 years or so. #personalfinance #investments #BTC

It's more likely to hit 0 than 0.01, and only way prior situation happens is if/when governments ban it. Already up on the chopping block in some countries, and since Bitcoin came from bmoney which was literally a Crypyo-Anarachist manifesto to overthrow the US government and federal reserve, it's not too unlikely that it will be banned soon

I'm not disagreeing entirely with your point and only recently have they been profitable on paper. I wouldn't frame these new liberal regulations that were put in place are limiting their power, it's more like closing the door behind them so others can't follow suite and stay competitive.

Now kids working 12+ hr days in the coal mine is horrible but nobody put a gun to their head and forced them to work there. The changes from that came from a collective strike against the corporations which turned into a blood bath when Pinkertons got involved to break up the picket line. It wasn't a liberal regulation that stopped them it was literal blood & fire from the labor movement.

As far as tech mongel beliefs, I'll just say actions speak louder than words. They'll do or say anything to hold the power the have and while some might have good intentions. They ultimately are only doing these things for their own self preservation and secure the future of their descendants by creating a dynasty that'll last generations.

Mark my words, you'll see the kids and grandkids of Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and the like running for public office in the future to keep their dynasty in power.

How can you be so bearish on btc when some of the smartest investors have started allocating money into it? Even those who have bashed it on the past are coming around and pouring money into it.

How can you see countries like El Salvador and Turkey suffer from hyperinflation and a failing centra bank and not wonder hm can this happen to the US and leading nations? It’s happened in the past and will time and time again. There’s an inherent issue with inflationary monetary policy and a government controlled central banking system.

If a house cost 10 BTC today but you knew it would cost 5 BTC two years from now due to guaranteed deflation, would you buy it? This pressure would push the economy to enter a continuous anti-consumption spiral. This is the problem in Japan currently where the society is extremely pro-savings over consumption and has an old population that doesn't consume or invest their accrued capital. I understand that on a personal scale consumerism is associated with negative things such as mindlessness or environmental damage, etc but it's more about having a balance where there's enough consumption for businesses to bring new products to market, otherwise people wouldn't be willing to take risks or try new things. In a deflationary environment, consumption falls rapidly and stunts the economy, as has happened in Japan

I think it would be a positive thing in that, housing would have its true real value based on utility rather than a financial instrument which would make us build more of them and have them be more affordable. Japan still produces a ton of advanced technology though and has like one of the largest gdps ever (edit: 3rd largest gdp), which is impressive especially when you consider it's small size. Anyways, time will tell what will happen.
