Blind is a great target for paid hackers, and it'll become a more lucrative target as it grows into a wider range of industries. From what I've seen, they have very limited (if any) ways of protecting against security attacks and breaches. If I were to put my money on it, I'd say there is a more than 50% chance it'd get hacked at some point, and the data could become public. So, think twice before you post here, and be ready for the day when your identity, along with your posts, could become public.
FUD!
Well Blind says they themselves cannot identify who the user is.
Why not? You used your work email to sign up
@Ash Nazq go read their TOS. educate yourself.
Yep, guaranteed to happen sooner or later. Blind will be the next Ashley Madison.
yawn. You people are paranoid about the weirdest thing. How about you don't post anything that could get you in trouble? Or if you are worried, go read their security and FAQ and see if that makes you feel better.
It doesn't.
yes, all the ananomity will be exposed
OP, how did you get to 50% chance?
Thanks for the PSA. Shouldn't you be herding children across the crosswalk?
Nah don't worry - once you are approved even blind doesn't maintain your is to email relation in any way - so if you hack you have no usable data.
If I login from a new device, my old device is logged out. How can this happen if they don't keep your work email and your device token? Maybe they hash the email. But I see no effective salt in the information I provided to keep the hash from a collision attack.
they released a white paper on their anonymity process. go read it.
Ok, Thuan! Thanks for heads up. Btw, how much did you pay for it?
