I did an in-person interview with Adobe on Friday. When can I expect a response?
If you're working with a recruiter, reach out to them for an answer. They can bug the hiring manager on your behalf.
There is no set answer. Best bet is to contact the recruiter and be patient.
HR might take weeks to get back to you, if ever. How poorly Adobe HR treats candidates is a big problem. It's best that you e-mail the hiring manager directly, thank them for their time, and remind them why you are the best person for the job
What type of role was it for?
They're staggeringly slow
It’s tough to say. Depends on the interviewing team, for one, to give a definite yay or nay. Then there’s other decisions in management and recruiting (which I have no familiarity with) that can lead to a delay. If a decision maker is out of the office, for example, a decision can be delayed. It’s not meant to be drawn out but it could be due to no fault on your side. Hopefully the internal recruiter contact will stay in touch to let you know a decision is pending (but I don’t work in recruiting and outside my own experience I can’t say what to expect).
Stay in touch with the recruiter. They are as eager to get a candidate on board as the candidate is to clear the rounds 😊
