Each time I think it’s too high the freaking stock goes higher but then I hear ppl say that it’s overvalued and might explode soon. Don’t want to lose out on easy money.
Don't try to time the market. If you believe in the company for the long term, buy over a period of time at regular intervals.

Don’t buy on hype, don’t fixate on company name, look at fundamentals, that’s pretty much it

1999 (the year not the stock price)
Typically I value a company based on its P/E and earnings or potential for future earnings, which I estimate based on historical revenue data and estimates of profit margins. This method allowed me to avoid owning the stocks that crashed in the dot com bubble (absurdly high P/E ratios with no reasonable path to obtain the earnings necessary to support the price.) Using this method, I have no idea how to value amazon. It doesn’t have much profit, and I don’t know what margins I can expect in the future. This is why I have never owned the stock. That said, I was very wrong in the past not to buy it. I have no idea now. Amazon is a mystery to me. I find it risky because it seems to be a mystery to everybody. What is it worth? 1 trillion? 5 trillion? How do you calculate it? I have no idea. Do you?

You can’t time the market. If your goal is long term value growth, then buy some amazon on a down day and hold it for awhile.
