When is too soon to leave? Shitty Amazon team
Joined Amazon 3 months back. Joined a really shitty team, only one other developer that doesnt give a shit about the product, code reviews are really simple, 0 tests, no processes. Not even sprint planning or scoping. Talked to manager about it, says its a low point in our team and hoping to turn it around. Tbh, im really considering to leave, but Ive only been here for such a short amount of time. SDE1 with 1.5 YOE. TC:180k
So if you know things can be improved why not take ownership (LP), and develop a process and plan to implement changes into your pipeline that helps yourself and the team? Present it to your manager and skip. Easy way to use this as a promo doc? No wonder junior roles have so much churn...

Dude. People bail on amazon all the time after working any duration. You get an automatic “get out of jail free” card when leaving amazon no matter of you worked there three weeks or ten years. Your future employer understands why...
