Where do Salesforce employees working in Bellevue downtown park?
I was informed that salesforce Bellevue downtown location has no free parking like microsoft. Is it true? Where do employees who work in salesforce Bellevue park? Also was informed salesforce does not give any orca card for public transit usage, is it true?
There is parking at the building ($235/month) also some slightly cheaper options within couple of blocks. Parking can be paid pre-tax. Company will get you orca card (no balance) and you can add balance to it monthly, pre-tax. Typically difference in pay between MS and Salesforce is large enough for one to not lose sleep over this amount. If this is that critical just add 3000 to your desired target total compensation during discussion of your offer.
Salesforce pays more than Microsoft?
Yes. One of the reasons we are getting hordes of microsoftees of all ranks, senior and principal devs, managers of all levels etc.
Library Bellevue
Both true. You can park at the mall in the blue spaces at the top (in employee parking) although during the holidays they put up signs saying no employee parking. You can park in the library but not too much. You can also park at the park but that's pretty far and you may get a ticket.
