Where to go after Facebook?
As an enterprise engineer (engineer for internal business tools) I don’t get paid as much as SWEs at Facebook. I’m planning my next move. I failed a Google interview back in May so Google’s out of the question. Which companies should I target for max TC. I’ve had recruiters from Slack, Stripe and Twitter reach out over the last few months. What other companies should I consider? I have close to 3 yoe. Over a year at Facebook. How much TC should I expect to get assuming I interview and negotiate well?
Google obviously? Wait another year and reinterview.
Why don't you try an internal transfer to SWE?
Try to find a company with a good culture and WLB. Joining a startup at this stage of the economic cycle is dangerous, especially if a recession hits.
Current TC ?
Netflix? High salaries at least. Probably just as stressful.

I would see if you can switch into SWE. If you already failed google you probably are going to have a rough time so staying at FB is probably best option until you get your skills up.
Get in crypto :) Try some of the custodian startups like anchorage or bitgo
I think Slack and Stripe are excellent places to go to next! There's potential in both companies. Don't dismiss Slack just because of its recent stock performance. Look longer term!
My first stop after Facebook would be a therapist.
smart thing to do after your rejection
FB provides a pretty good health insurance, not sure the next employer will treat you that well. Unless G/MS, of course.
