Sports betting websites are reflecting higher probability that Biden will win. This change was associated with public attitudes towards Trump following the protests. He was using the "law and order" president, but sentiments towards the police have dropped 10%.
The first stimulus package made cash trash, unrewarding to lend. so people invested in the stock market (S&P500 up 10%), one reason to hedge against inflation.
How should I re-balance my financial portfolio in the event of Biden presidency?

As for thought control: the idea that the CEO of Twitter, one man who does not answer to the American people, can impose his decision to hide and cast doubt on the posts made by a democratically elected president of the United States. That is mind blowing. If that is not thought policing, what is? Not to mention all this 'blacklist/whitelist, history/herstory' nonsense. In 1984 thought control begins with the modification of language.
Other parts of the world are indeed more left-leaning than US on average. How are their economies doing? Europe hasn't been able to get their economies together for 10 years. France's unemployment rate was ~10% precovid.
I think most Americans are still believers in small-government capitalism. Honestly if our government can't get DMV straight how effective do you think they'll be in implementing welfare programs?
