Now that many companies are pulling out of China due to it’s faltering economy, increasing cost, uncertainty, and various other severe issues, it’s very clear that China has a bleak future. Where will the next manufacturing hub be?

    Maybe not fair to say that, but any country controlling Covid with similar outcome as China does will have best chance, since manufacturing is a systems engineering
    rather than individuals can play.

    Completed supply chain, excellent transportation network, well educated human resource. Any country with these 3 things can be next China, otherwise will be assembly factories of low value, like some China electronics manufacturer headquarters setting up assembly factories in Vietnam just for the low salary cost there

    Definitely won't be India, because it has an absolutely atrocious regulatory environment. Most likely Vietnam in the short run. Mexico in the long run because it size (workforce), proximity to all major markets (bi-coastal pacific/Atlantic/US next door), and attractive treaties.
