Which city is better to settle in: Austin, TX or Seattle, WA? Some context: I am a software engineer at Microsoft.

I moved from TX to Seattle... TX was too hot and too many mosquitoes. Also biggest thing is no outdoors activity. And for those of you defending Austin, don’t tell me the greenbelt, zilker and hill country are even close to having 3 national parks, skiing and the Pacific Ocean within spitting distance. That being said, city life was better in Austin, so if you really prioritize good food and nightlife, Austin wins.
Seattle has terrible nightlife and dating here for men is depressing. If you’re single take Austin otherwise seattle
How so? Austin and Seattle politics are similar. Against Trump Clinton won 72% of King county vs 65% in Travis. In the primary King preferred Clinton 57% vs 43% for Bernie. Travis slightly preferred Bernie 51% vs. 48%. So does that make Seattle more moderate and Austin more socialist? 🤔
