I think a lot of companies are adopting this, they generally do it to lower operational costs. They have 100 employees but 80 desks. People can wfh a day or two a week.

Expedia has this for data scientist and tech folks. I think this causes more issues as people become territorial over the desks and some generally stay in the same spot.over and over
