Which company did you have an excellent interview process with, and why was it a positive experience for you? We already had the worst company interview thread, so let’s hear some good stories now. I’ll start: Facebook gave me a great onsite interview. They really tried hard to make sure it was a good experience and the questions were very well thought out. The people who interviewed me were insanely smart, too.
Uber and google for me. FB is a bad experience, their recruiters are really bad
With Uber, PS interviewer was 15 minutes late and unprepared, and after 3 weeks (and 3 follow up emails, 1 a week), the recruiter finally got back to me that they weren’t moving forward. She said she was “super reluctant” to let me go, and vague about the reasons. I don’t mind getting rejected. I did feel like they didn’t take it seriously from the start and wasted everyone’s time. I would have loved an actual interview, not the practical joke interview Ingot.
Have to agree, FB was the best experience for me. Recruiter prepared me for the interview ahead of time and told me some info/tips about each of the interviewers. All 5 of my interviewers were friendly and easy going which helped settle my nerves. The question were well thought out and reasonable. They all started off with relatively easy questions and got harder and harder.
Facebook and Craftsy. Shout out to the DE manager at Craftsy, you were upbeat while honest about growth and learning opportunities.
He’s gonna be soooo happy when he sees this!!
