Which company is good for career growth: eBay or Walmart
Non-engineering roles, both are offered as senior manager level. Seems promotion at ebay is hard but would love to hear your opinion.
6 at Walmart and 26 at Ebay. Pay are similar TC around 280K. I am more interested long term growth so current pay/level not important.
Is it a product or program role? If it’s product then eBay may be a better option considering a Tech first company. What’s your YoE?
280K is quite high for 26. Promotion to 27 will take a few years and some luck. I didn’t know 26 is Sr Mgr in non-engg roles. It is usually an IC role with people mgmt starting at 27.
I’d vote Walmart. They have been making some Moves lately

Walmart’s rating of 3.3 is too low. You may not enjoy working there.
