Which offer would you take Netflix or Google (see TC below)?
Hey Blind, I am considering the following two offers from Netflix and Google. Which would you take? Netflix 340k TC all in including base and options Google Offer 295k TC all in average over 4 years. The vesting schedule is interesting at 40/28/20/12 so that the average TC all in for first 2 years is 335k. Not considered are the refreshers for Google which the recruiter said would be around ~80k a year. Not considered for Netflix are the yearly adjustments to top of market which I feel can probably match the refreshers at least. -blahdedah

I voted Google for the stability of not getting fired. Netflix is paying 45k more though. If the team at Netflix is more interesting, I would join them.

Even if you get fired from Netflix you get a massive severance. Google offer (HC approval) is good for a year anyways.
Netflix all day. Don't go to Goog. Drummond or Singhal or some such might end up having sex with you there.

Which team ? How come such good offer from Google with just 3 yoe ? Is it because they bumped it up because of Netflix offer ? Also OP, can u suggest how to crack such offers from demanding companies like Netflix. What is your resume made of ?
