Or stay bullish on stocks?
What are examples of good bonds? Are they as liquid as stocks/etfs?
Well I just meant switching from an aggressive stock portfolio from one of the 401k choices to a bond portfolio which would focus mostly on government bonds and whatnot.
Do people have aggressive choices for their 401k? The most aggressive in mine is a S&P500 ETF.
Trying to time the market = LOSS
Always diversify investments you should be in both always
My thoughts exactly. Letting mine ride.
bonds risky, use savings / CD
If you are 64, yeah, you could do that but if you are 30-40-50, why would you do that? You might end up losing money by trying to time it.
+1 This
Yeah, it's not about staying bullish. If you're less than 60, your stonks will be worth more than today by the time you start getting distributions from 401k.
Smh
Cash. Bonds are more overpriced than stocks.
Stay the course. Put it in your 401k with a low fee investment (S&P500, for example) and pretend it doesn't exist until you near retirement.
Stonks only go up.
Really original, good for you
You beat me to it. Wsb forever
Target retirement year mutual fund that grows more towards bonds the closer you are.
Remember to sell low buy high
Improved advice: remember to buy lowest, sell highest.
Just be right a lot
