Why I don't see QA engineers posting TC as much here?

Industry is moving away from SDET role. Microsoft dissolved it 4 years ago for example.
Do you mind sharing Microsoft did then?

SDET were converted to SDEs and the SDE role become also responsible to test what they build. Nowadays you can find some test vendors in some teams but it's pretty uncommon or responsible to do horizontal things like accessibility reviews.
