Is it bad engineering talent? Cause they have a Monopoly on employee data? Bureaucratic organization that can’t get anything done? I’m getting timeout errors, bad links, no support (they don’t list their help center email). This is so sad. I will now set a higher bar whenever I see a Linkedin resume come across my desk.
Let’s hope Blind grows and launches a new LinkedIn product that wouldn’t suck.
Sorry to hear that. LTS pals please help.
Can I say really weak leadership in some orgs?
Slack outages are so common in LinkedIn. We are just repaying you back what you provide us 😅
Not all LinkedIn paid products are terrible. Some are definitely better/worse than others.
Wait til it actually tries to be a meaningful enterprise software company 😂
Why would LinkedIn ppl ever put a resume on your desk though...
Wait until you use our beta version app tho. Fucking crashing daily lol
We have Monopoly and we will keep making shitty products and increase the cost of subscription every year. Do whatever you can, stop using LinkedIn and let your rivals have competitive advantage.
I have worked with enough clients to know that they already know this. I am a fairly senior engineer and have sacrificed a lot of my sleep to trying to improve things in LinkedIn's largest Enterprise org. Sadly, everyone in leadership run their own agenda targeted at their individual growth. I have been screaming craftsmanship and quality for 3 years, before I gave up and left the org. I expressed the above in frustration but this is the true sentiment among engineering leaders.
