Why do some people choose Microsoft over Amazon even when Amazon pays more bucks
Title Of course money isn't everything, so what are the other things which weigh in favor of Microsoft? Also I have an offer from Microsoft , should I interview with Amazon? Of course this might depend from person to person but should I do it in your view?

Worked at both. Benefits are way better. Msft gives 10k to your 401k and allows you to contribute an additional 27k via mega backdoor Roth. Free healthcare. $2000 HSA money. ESPP. Super Subsidized pharmacy with lots of OTC drugs and health items. 10 sick days and 15PTO vs 3 sick days and 10PTO The work is the same. WLB is actually worse at a Microsoft for me. My on hire pay was more than Amazon. After 2 years it’s the same, after 4 it’s less. So unless they provide me with SSA I will leave (probably back to Amazon) after year 4
