Low pay Hostile to remote work Stupid low bar above new grad. For L4 they still don’t ask system design 🤣 New grads are mostly interns who lucked out on their coding questions. Senior engineers from outside are all shit due to low bar and bad pay. Hiring process is extremely slow Work culture doesn’t reward impact. No wonder their products are so dead end and lack innovation. Lots of egos work there who think they hot shit for changing the CSS on a button at Google. The wokeness is everywhere and nauseating
Basically all companies suck
except for 1, which is...
Albertsons
Low bar? Seriously coming from someone at Amazon?
😂😂
Amazon bar is higher above entry level. Intermediate level at Amazon actually has system design rounds, coding rounds and behavioral. Google skips system design and hand waves behavioral in favor of school quizzes. The difference in expectations is reflected in the role responsibilities and the pay.
Yes Google would hire even a broccoli these days.
Damn i am worse than a brocolli
Tell me more? What happened?
🍿
So what you’re trying to say is you didn’t pass your interview?
This early in the morning though?
Same reaction haha I was like damn what happened to just wake up and go straight for the neck
There are countries other than USA
Don’t we have this post every year? Like everyone is „the bar got lower since I started?“ be more humble. Once you get pip and start to look for a job desperately, the bar is magically all high again, and getting in is just „pure luck“
