Why greencard backlog employees from FAANG companies dont participate in any advocacy?
I have been member of Immigration voice from last 6 months and I noticed that there are not many FAANG employees. Most of the members are from Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and Employees from desi consultancies. Why is that? I could be wrong but my experience is that not many members from FAANG companies though they would benefit from this advocacy.
They are too busy stuffing themselves with free food
Most of them make so much money that they plan to retire in home countries to live like king or queen. Only peasants care about green card these days
Then why there are posts from FAANG employees whining about green card delay? Like investing in EB5, Canada PR etc..
You answered your own question. The ones that complains talks about eb5 (invest $500k+) or moving to Canada (better place) to avoid wait time. Typically they don't complain about changing rules or remove per country cap. They know it's a reality and working with it.
It's more than likely that MOFAANGU employees will have a better than average life in most countries where there are tech jobs. Hence...
Because no one cares about them. They are not the kind of pet that liberals like.
Earning here in the US and retiring/reinvesting in others countries...
