They released the new version of the Messenger app and it can't even start properly. If you look on Google Play, everyone has this issue. How is it possible for a big company like Facebook to fail to test their releases properly?
Too busy making 🌲 fiddy
Even the FB mobile app is breaking badly on iPhone. Fails to load comments. Doesn’t notify for group events. Lot of bugs going on. It’s almost like an app for a new company that doesn’t know how to do this.
don’t complain, Facebook codebase quality has improved so much compare with a few years ago.
Don't see it. On PC it's slow and clunky still. On mobile it runs better, except when the app does not start at all

most things you learned or relearned on leetcode you rarely use at work, what a waste of time
🍿
Bc for most guys in there, the only system design they know is from GTSDI and the only coding they know is from Leetcode.
a good writer can a better coder than an engineer. Leetcode doesn’t teach you how to write clean code or simplify your design, this is far more important than solving some algorithms, only a few people actually work on algorithms in any company
Someone's gotta get that promotion yo. Releasing software tho buggy helps you big time towards that goal. Then fixing those problems gets another promotion.

Exactly, for all other FAANG companies, at least their products are improving and evolving to make the experience more seamless while everything is breaking at Facebook from timeline to newsfeed to Messenger.
