We are now so used to shootings news that we don't take it seriously anymore. After a few days, we forget about it. I feel if TV media starts showing bloody scenes of shootings with bullets hitting heads and bodies, then people get so fearful that they start protesting to force politicians to do something about the issue. Showing those scenes in the public would also embarrass the nation which might trigger some actions.
Well, that’s what you need to show to trigger pain points of nation. Dumbasses otherwise keep claiming guns are good and shit if they don’t see the consequences of no gun control laws
You made your own counter argument. Who is to say that we won’t get used to seeing bloody bodies and continue our inaction?
I feel that might be disrespectful to the deceased victims’ family members, not to mention those left permanently scarred by the attack-both physically and mentally. Plus the sickos will get a kick out of it and might decide to try it themselves.

We should be used to it because it does happen often. What’s missing is the context. Out of a country of a third of a billion, there are tens of people who die in shootings fairly often. Oh no! Tens of people! TENS! Out of a third of a billion. That’s zero point zero zero zero zero zero wait how many more zeros? ... 3%
It can be mentally disturbing. It can be used to create the next killer. So no, it should not be shared
I really doubt that. A lot of other countries show the results of violence and don't hide it so much as we do here. Maybe it's time people really see what an exploded face or head really look like so they can see that violence is real and how pointless it really is. Let's show people what a gun really does. People need to really see what these weapons of war do to a humans body.
No because the brainfucked xenophobes would just salivate over it and make callous memes from the photos. The strategy of exposing the brutaility worked in cases of coverups (like torture of prisoners in Iraq). It also worked with Emmett Till because post-war US population believed they just won a war of democracy over racial terror and internationally the US government was trying to present itself as leader of the world and better option than the USSR for post-colonial governments. Hard to claim to be better that British or French colonists when people get treated like repressed colonial populations back at home. But the media and xenophobes already treat immigrants as “things” rather than real people, so showing the carnage may not work as intended. I think a better strategy would be to humanize the victims, tell their stories. This would cut against the far-right dehumanization of scapegoated groups as well as the dehumanization by the Republicans and Democrats who talk about immigrants like units who hurt or help the economy.
I doubt people when confronted with pictures of innocents death would make memes over it. I have to lol at how ridiculous that sounds.
Oh, you’ve never seen far-right memes? Like the memes making light of gas chambers and supporting dictatorships that disappeared and killed unionists? https://gizmodo.com/why-are-trump-supporters-offering-people-free-helicopte-1829705238
Showing bloody bodies would be in monumental bad taste and either get a channel yanked or cause a sponsor exodus.
Because mesia are not doing their job anymore
Because, despite claims to the contrary, the media does not have a liberal bias and will not push a liberal agenda.
