I will start it from the beginning, while hiring I was promised that, I would be given java full stack development work, which I had been experienced with, but when I joined I was asked to work on a framework where there was even barely a line or two of code, I had to work for 1.5yrs straight in that framework, just to get work in Java back, my manager re-hired me for se-2 since the other guy blackmailed him for 15% hike, so he made me as a replacement and the money I got for it was it like single digit, he even made me learn python django development saying we will be building web portals and I learnt it fastly as I can and asked him for a project, he put me in a another framework for data collection, later he gave me a java development which had swt ui😞 I mean like who uses that in these generation, I did release after release in the legacy tech stack itself, I started involving in coding marathons just to focus my energy on something good, I won 2, 24hr coding marathons and an innovation challenge, my idea is being patented for that reason, now when it came to appraisal cycle, I had ton of work which I could showcase for a promotion, but it ended up getting a rating which is not even close to what I was suppose to get, he just gave good rating to one who joins him in the bar and one who's close to him, when I asked for re-evaluation of my review document, he mentioned I haven't contributed anything worth while for his team, whereas others who were always away on teams, drinking in the bar got better rating than me, I have enhanced framework, wrote scripts which are centralized, won competitions which is being patented and yet got a bad review, so one who wants to join Cerner rethink of it, you might end up with managers like this. Not all managers are bad, this ones definitely is. He's withholding teams budget and not discussing compensation just to get max out of it for himself. This is the reason why you're seeing lot of Indian engineers migrating to US and Cannada.
Cerner pay alone should be a good signal not to join
