I wanna know how to feel
talk is cheap
Only desperate people will be coming to US - e.g. Infosys/Tata material. Conditions in home country need to be real bad to agree to stay in visa limbo for years, so 1st world citizens (with best education, etc) will not bother coming.
Salaries are over 2x higher than Canada so I'll take visa limbo
Right, you don’t need to get H1 first. I was lucky to get H1 during the Great Recession - it took me 2 months from my first contact with the recruiter to getting visa stamp at the embassy. I would not have come at any other year, waiting Mar - Oct would be too nerve-wrecking. It’s like US only wants most disparate people, who agree to anything to leave their country...
American workers can’t compete with people who have much lower expectations of the quality of life. For many immigrants, sharing bedroom with other men and eating cheapest food and never going out is fine. I don’t want my kids to compete with that. It just drives the quality of life down for everyone.
Only country will benefit is india .
Comments filled with hate and ignorance.
So, why are you putting up with that? Go back to your loving country. I can only imagine what would the attitude in India be if white people would come in droves, eager to work for significantly lower pay.
You dumbfk 1. How do you know I am in the US? 2. I didn't bring race into this but if you're talking about white people , they already looted India for 150 years. Not legally btw. It was an invasion. 3. US reps making laws and not you. Indians are here legally so if you have a problem go talk to your president. He's the one going to sign or veto the bill. There's no need to take it out on regular people. We are simply following the law. Isn't America a country that follows the rule of law? Who says I love India? I never said that did I? I like it here but I won't put up with stupidity and hatred. It's not either or.
While i didn't see America first but i see India first in the US
If you already have an approved i140, it changes nothing for you.
I don't, moving to the US this year
Then your wait time will be equal to that of every other nationality, no less, no more.
