What would be a better company to join in terms of WLB, Minimal layoffs and which one adds more value to resume for product management role TC is higher in PayPal with RSUs being part of TC but same base salary offered in both DELL and PayPal #product #productmanagement

Definitely PayPal. I have a close friend who’s an IC-6 at Dell, his base and bonuses are competitive, but no RSUs. If you’re a high performer you’d be giving up 100k to 200k a year in RSUs (guessing based on my experience, idk what PayPal equity grants are like), and giving up an even higher upside (growth pre-vest) to work at Dell.
We lay off every quarter hehe

Tell us more about the role offered at each company and the organization. I know both the companies really well and they are both big enough that the general comments above don’t really do justice to your question
Both are product manager roles, within data strategy team at Dell and SaaS system integration strategy at Paypal
Dell is a shit show. PayPal is a no brainer
