I recently got an offer from Workday, Pleasanton. I got a good vibe after attending onsite interview. But i'd like to learn more about work culture, worklife balance. Can someone share your experiences?
What's the offer and YOE?
Doesn’t workday pay super well also? I’ve heard nothing but good things about them yet feel like its a secret that 90% of tech doesn’t know or talk about
Didn't the stock go up by 2x in the last year alone?
Just curious - what would you say is the percentage of your given RSU in comparison to your annual salary?
10-25% rsu for first year up to 40% when you're there for 4 years
What team did you interview for and what position ?
I would say that work culture depends on the team you join. In general, workday is employee centric. People are real nice and way less politics than anywhere I have worked prior. Work life balance is great, but also depends on your direct VP and their style of execution. Comp varies big time across the company, depending on the value you and your experience brings to the company. I joined relatively recently and love it so far. Good luck!
Workday definitely under pays, but the work life balance is verrrrry chill. If you are some super ambitious hardass, workday is probably not for you. If you are trying to raise a family and live an actual life on a good salary, workday is for you
Nailed it.
Regarding WLB, what you said is definitely not true across most of the company!
Work life balance is verrrrry good at workday, makes up for their lower pay. It's also cause workday is in the East Bay, not expensive ass Sf/silicon valley
I interviewed and I have close friends who work there. Pets are allowed and work life balance they rave about! The culture is full of nice people and honestly quite jealous of you!
Unfortunately, you don't have access to Blind WD channel to read the workers there are complaining! Always take your friends positive words and fabricated feedback on Glassdoor with a grain of salt.
Who on workday blind ever complains about work life balance? lol
