What's it like to work at Accenture? I've made it through a few interviews but I'm worried it all sounds too good to be true. Reality check?
Which part of Accenture?
It's like an accent mark.
It’s hard out there for a pimp.
It’s too big of a company to really make a claim about a uniform experience
I'm not concerned with a uniform kind of thing. I'm asking for some personal experiences of how some people felt, honest opinions. Because interviewers will all say how great it is, but never be honest about things they don't like.
Accenture employs 425,000 people. Differences in the roles, compensation and experiences are day and night. Random anecdotes are useless for that company. You have to find someone who’s worked for the same team or at least at the same role.
I have decent WLB and an amazing supportive practice doing cool stuff. I know others who spend their days grinding out power points 24/7 so it really varies.
It's pretty dope, I'm livin for it. All of it.
Accenture is a great company just make sure you negotiate a good start for your salary
Do you have a life? Friends, family, hobbies, etc? If yes, you can say goodbye to those..
