Hes a spy bro
Not a spy, genuinely curious...Are you happy there?
In my experience, the contractors/consultants are MUCH happier than direct employees. I'm in Seattle area. Boeing is everywhere but mostly Washington
Why much happier?
really i disagree with this statement. all contractors i know wanna move to direct
Greate seattle area, Renton is pretty good, near a plaza where you have gym and food, as well as Ross store, also near Lake Washington
I wouldn't say I'm happy. I'm bored and tentative about creating new projects for myself because I find my management cares way more that rules and processes are followed (including many unwritten rules) than actual work gets done. My group isn't into critical thinking. It's depressing. We're a support function, so YMMV. My friends in other areas at Boeing seem much happier. I like my co-workers, but am looking to get another job in Boeing where I can use the masters degree I'll be paying off for years.
I am a business analyst who writes business cases and calculates ROI for proposed projects. Boeing used to be a company I really liked working for. But now I am so massively overloaded with work it's impossible to accomplish something. I used to go to classes to learn new skills, now I'm at my desk until late in the evening just trying to keep up multitasking. The company is heavily promoting benefits that target millennials with a family
This sounds like some of us at AA hdq. Not sure re the benefits other than insurance costing more each year. I’m curious if you could please share re “writes business cases and calculates ROI for proposed projects” any suggestions/training? Would be nice if AA could train versus MDs just asking employees to produce ROI.
I learned OJT from Finance analysts to do ROI. Some industrial engineering background helps. We do informal time studies and pilots. Look at intangible benefits like risk management. I recommend
si tu es français et célibataire.... send me a DM.
C’est quoi ce message? Tout à fait hors du sujet là.
As a former Boeing employee my happiest day was leaving the company for more pay.
