What was the most unexpected task you were assigned at work? Mine was when I was tasked to fly out of state and tour these restaurants and site seeing places to come up with recommendation for a VIP visiting from abroad. Fun but weird assignment.
I wish I got something like that. Basically a paid vacation with extra steps lol
Yea it was actually fun and I didn't have to deliver anything afterwards because the VIP's visit got cancelled. Just an odd experience unrelated to work lol
I was assigned to make a better deal with our office's WIFI provider...
You've got to be kidding. I would suck at that since I'm not a good negotiator lol
Long and tedious KYC checks were the worst and most boring things I had to do when working at JP Morgan. Compliance is becoming so important that interns had to help on that
Haha ya although not where I am but at my previous gig. It was such an odd experience (don't get me wrong I liked it, being able to expense whatever and they flew both me and my gf out). It was just very unrelated to my actual job that I find it a memorable experience looking back. Oh and that VIP never actually ended up coming... lol
