      beach, I use the assistant for a lot more than just navigation. Tesla assistant doesn't hold up to Google Assistant and never will.

      @doeji all non luxury cars such as Subaru, Honda, Toyota ... come with adaptive cruise control.

      No you don't. You can charge off a standard nema 14-xx appliance outlet or even a 110v wall socket (slow but works).

      If OP wants the 35k one, then he can get that without any add ons just fine. He doesn't seem very interested in them anyways from the thread.

      To add to my comment,I think this is part of the design: the car is so bad in the basic model without any option that you will most probably update to the higher models and end up with the cost of a high end car
