Team and project fit seems to be marginally better than what I have. Pay is 30% more than in Google. Benefits and commute is worse Would you join Lyft?
Why would anyone join Lyft?
I would say dozens of reasons to join Lyft over Uber. I have multiple requests from Uber managers to join their teams, but I asked same question "Why would anyone join Uber?"
No upside for lyft. Just downside.
Price to sales ratio...are you including the $100s in free ride credit you try to give me every few weeks
Read the fine print. In the meantime I'll enjoy those negative unit economic $2.99 UberPool rides. Doesn't matter if you 100% match efficiency (not even possible) your losing your shirt. Then on top you're spending millions in driver subsidies on top of that.
$2.99 is an outdated talking point. Check the app for yourself. (Compare the ETAs while you're there.)
think about G+ vs FB
G+ is not right comparison, imo
Hi5 vs. FB?
Meh. More money to join the eventual Betamax of ridesharing?
Wrong comparison ! Ups and FedEx have lived together
Betamax lol. Spot on
No, I would not if I were you. To provide prospective, that would be a $100k+ increase in pay.
100k annually is big money for me
How are you getting higher comp at Lyft? Are you L3/L4? Would you mind sharing numbers? My impression is that Google L5+ is top of the industry so shouldn't you try for promo first? Or is my impression wrong...
l4. will probably get promoted in 6 months if I stayed.
With promo you will probably get 30+% more.
Honey I'd join anyone for a 30% pay raise but I doubt lyft is hiring for my expertise ;)
👍
+100
Yes - i have personally seen their culture and people , love it - these guys are good and good wins, I will be worried if some arrogant senior uber folks join.
Churn plz

Yes! If you can bear the unicorn risk, go for it
I'm not worried about risk. I'm not sure about manager. how difficult is it to change teams if I don't like the manager?
Relatively easy in my experience. Just start conversation with the new team and they'll be happy to take you.
