You get to pick the company to join. Any thoughts? A friend of mine is considering doing it and finishing up his master's afterwards. TC 120

I understand not wanting to leave a job, but why do you see leaving for an internship as a bad thing?
I might’ve misunderstood the question but if they meant downgrading from a full-time job to an internship just to get your feet at the door at fAnG then I simply don’t get it. At the end of the day, a FANG job is just that - a job.
Is it an executive management internship?
Lol nah
Why not. If he sucks at LC, it’ll be easier to get in as an intern and get a return offer.
Pretty sure FAANG won’t let you intern unless you’re an actual full time student (bachelors/masters or PhD) with at least 1 semester left
Ah, my friend is halfway through his master's, having done it part time for a while. He's received offers from 2 fang companies already, so it's definitely possible, but I guess not common.
Thats true FAANG hires interns who are usually pursuing their education. They do not hire full timer as interns. I have tried and got a generic response from Facebook that their internship program is exclusively for people in their final year or penultimate year of study. Sorry bud
Lol no
Glad you don't hate your job! Are you actively looking though?
Not actively looking, but ofc always open to new opportunities. I get paid very well and my WLB is superb. I’d only leave for the right opportunity. Not really looking to do the same shit somewhere else unless it’s for *significantly* more money.
