Joined Dell in 2021.
Not enjoying my work. Looking out for roles, but also have some visa constraints.

Just want to understand why there are so many folks who stay back at Dell for more than 5 years?

In my case, there is so much work to do and so many late hours, by the time I have freetime to study for interviews and look for a job I am exhausted.

But if you’re going to leave anyway it’s ok to impact your work because you’re not going to be there to face consequences

Eh.. I work early mornings, late nights, sometimes weekends, no one is going to judge me for randomly taking a day or 2 off or disappearing at 2pm on a Friday

We enjoy being complacent and having terrible managers who never reward the hard work of their employees? Lol

It really depends on your org. There's some orgs that pay well with great work-life balance and you work with some great people with great managers and some great customers. The things that keep people around
