What exercises and equipments do you recommend for home workout? Aim is to get in better shape, and feel better.
I am 183cm and weigh 165 lbs. My fitness routine consists of running only and I run around 4 miles on alternate days.
As someone who has never done any weight training, what could be a good way to get started?
PS: too much noise on YouTube, and would love to hear from your experience. Thanks!

go with body weight
exercises like pushups etc will get u good shape
As others have said, Body weight is the way to go, for now.
Add a body circuit in the morning (and evening for extra difficulty)
Be able to knock out 200-500 push ups no problem (change your hand width)
Do some core work outs
Add some sprint work in a couple times a week.
Lots of things you can do!
Buying actual weights is your personal choice depending on how much space do you have and how much you want to invest.
- There is a hoop in my backyard. So 30 mins of basketball routine - some shots, layups etc.
- Every alternate day 4 miles just like you. I try to finish somewhere between 35-40 mins.
- 100 pushups - you can do 10x10 or 15x7 or 20x5 or 25x4 etc. It depends on your strength.
- 10x5 pullups if there is a pull-up bar - again this is strength dependent. Try to do as many pullups as you can with a good form. If you can't do a single pull-up, hang on the bar for as long as you can and towards the end when you feel like you are going to leave the bar, try to pull yourself up.
- use your chair or bed for bench tricep dips - 15x3
