Hi Folks,

We have purchased a travel insurance for our parents (UHC PPO through imglobal). But most of the big hospitals like PAMF, Stanford do not seem to accept it. Any idea which clinics take it? We want to use it for a care from a internal/family medicine doctor.

    Small clincs accept but charge you later for some stuff. My Dad got surgery done and his visits to get checked got covered while the big bill for surgery did not ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

    Also, El Camino hospitals accepted it during our ER visits.

      You are right. The small clinics do seem to accept the travel insurance. But for new patients, the soonest appointment is a month out ๐Ÿ˜” The healthcare system is sooo messed up!

      Each surgery was around 15k and my Dad got two of them. I am paying them monthly now. But I have some 15/20 years to finish it off - minimum monthly payment is 50$ per surgery
