I have a few job offers. Out of the options, I'm undecided between twitter and lyft. I am very well aware of the fact that twitter, as a company, is not doing well. however I'm intrigued by their engineering quality and the scale of work. Lyft on the other hand, has the main advantage of being a pre-IPO company and probably lot to learn in terms of building things from ground up. The total annual comp is comparable. Lyft: 320k, Twitter: 300k.
is my perception about Twitter engineering correct? and what about the work life balance there?
What would you recommend out of these two if I do value quality of work over money (unless there is a significant difference).
my other offers that I'm not considering at the moment: Box, Apple and Netflix.
