1) They shoot for management roles early in their career. 2) Some are more diplomatic. 3) Their English is often better than other non-native speakers. 4) There are 1+ billion Indians.
There was a show on TV about 10 years ago called "Outsourced" that did a great job of showing the nuances of the Indian culture (and stereotypes). Lots of little gems in the pilot here :) https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2397132113896165
They're mostly subservient fall-guy figureheads for large companies where a founder or investors want to run a company without being direct figureheads, and still want someone that will not say 'No' when they request something.
They're there to say the lines and look smart while just funneling directives from the board of directors to the company. You now know a company is either in cruise control or about to collapse when they get their Indian CEO.
The fact of the matter is they are a model minority that can both fit diversity directives, and are subservient and docile enough to be completely controlled by the people who actually run the org.

That's not diplomatic.
Grow up.

Anyone that disagrees isn't engaged with reality.
Get a grip on reality.
