    “If Mike can afford to drop $500M on a Presidential bid then he can afford to pay me to crunch some numbers”

      In all seriousness, I agree there is no right answer. Just be honest. If you’re interested in finance, it is a great place to work. Lots of philanthropic efforts and D&I initiatives to get involved with.

  • Talk about philanthropy, diversity, transparency of information, flat organizational structure, and global impact. Can’t go wrong.

    Usually, the company which ask this kind of question is stupid. They know they would get no-objectively positive response. But they want someone to keep on telling them how good they are, even though they are really suck.

      that is The Absolute Truth!! Bloomberg is THE most politically screwed up company i have ever worked for; political connections trump all rational technology decisions; how on the face of this earth the massed such a Fortune is beyond me; their are , however, three really cool things about the company;
      1. 1/2 million aquariums on every floor;

      2. $10k fresh flower arrangements every Wednesday on floor 23 and 25 ( and that is just for ‘public’, who the hell knows what else;

      3. Free all you can eat baby tomatoes on floor 2 and free all you can drink coffee and tea;

      That’s about it;

  • I told them the truth. I wanted to move to New York city, I wanted to work in a faster paced environment, and I wanted to actually work on products people were using.
