I didn't get a new hire LTI nor Sign on bonus π’
I believe that with that initial grant + bonus your TC will be close or at the same level as many Sr. SWE (Disney P3) in Y1.
When it comes to work and culture, I don't want to minimize what we have gone through over the past year, it has been rough. But as a new hire, you will have the opportunity to work on one or more products that have a huge reach. True, many of us will end up working on two different platforms... at the end of the day is a matter of perspective either you are doing double duty or you will get to work on and unify two of the largest streaming platforms.
Hopefully, you'll end up in a good team where burnout is not the norm.
If you decide to join, best of luck to you, there are very interesting times ahead of us.
Thank you for the valuable insight, I really appreciate it! Itβs good to know my negotiating led to something solid, they were a little tough to get to flex!
