I never thought Blind would make me popular with college girls....

This is a no brainer IMO, def #1. Flow from finance into tech is net positive for a reason, especially directly into the APM role. Visa is a great place to be to pick up payments experience, it'll help her parlay that into an offer at a hot FinTech unicorn/decacorn. I wouldn't consider #3 for the reasons you alluded to (shrinking field anyways), #2 could potentially be useful for getting her access to a broad set of problems and challenges but at that age I think you oughtta be diving deep and getting as good as you can at one skill to become T-shaped. There's enough there in the vocation of PM to do that, and its a form of career equity that's only continuing to appreciate in equity. If she decided she wants to move into engineer (many PMs do!), it'll be way easier that way than if she's in finance. Also holds for if she wants to found a company and raise funding -- bright rising star PMs always command top dollars from VCs. YMMV.

Option #1 is the best one. Not only it has reasonable WLB, but also is the only one that provides a way to grow into software-related product management or even engineering management eventually, with the potential to double/triple that TC.

I think the choice is between 1 and 3. 3 should have very high upside in terms of career progression.
