Why do sellers increase price after the offer review date?

This house's price increases from $1,469,000 to $1,760,000 after the offer review date (with no offer):

Similarly, this one from $1,385,000 to $1,585,000 after the offer review date (with no offer):
https://www.redfin.com/WA/Redmond/11145-156th-Pl-NE-98052/home/324713

I don't understand this logic. If the sellers are serious about selling, shouldn't they reduce the price when there's no offer at the original (lower) price?
