Please teach me why you drink this. My boss and others on my team do. What does it do.
I know a guy who drank loads of Monster. He lost both of his kidneys in his early 30s. Went on dialysis for few years and lucked out to find a kidney donor in the family. He never drinks anything other than water nowadays :)
How much is a "load" of monster? I have my doubts that a bunch of b vitamins would fuck your kidneys up that badly.
About 3-4 a day. May be he wasn't drinking enough water or some other lifestyle behavior. It may sound anecdotal. But seeing him first-hand hit me hard. I would stay away from any kind of colored drink. Using excess caffeine as a stimulant is not a great idea. Just work out and eat healthy for sustained energy throughout the day.
Monster is just a big dose of caffeine. I drink the sugar free stuff frequently and what I like about it is that it doesn't leave me with coffee breath all morning
I drink it from a solo to avoid judgement.
Good call, at least you recognize the stigma!
Do you know why people drink soda? Do you know why they drink coffee? If so, can't you put the two together?
I have a theory that those types of energy drinks provide caffeine + sugar benefits to “keep you going” for a x period of time (which can increase or decrease pending amount consumed daily).....when x is hit, the body has already adapted to that sugar and caffeine intake levels....meaning, you’ll get used to it and its effects will ware off. What’s fascinating is the potential placebo effect, where after x is hit, people still consume these drinks because they believe it still “works”
Similar to Zillow, You have no clue what you’re talking about with all that placebo BS. You know it. So do I. And so does everyone else. Get a grip.
Do you work with a lot of teenage boys or something? I’ve never seen an adult drink monster un-ironically
Its worse than a monster if you use frequently. People drink thinking it keeps them awake....
@WindowsXp get a grip already.
Stick with coffee or tea.
That didn’t answer the question
They do the same thing as energy drinks like monster, but have scientifically proven health benefits.
