Expecting an offer from Infosys consulting. So how are their employee bands/levels classified? I am an Architect / Program Manager for Security Services. With 15+ years of experience.
That's dumb. Stop watching fox news.
Infosys is desperate to hire some citizens to not tho be labeled as visa dependent employer. As someone who worked for them in India and U.S., it is a bad company to join for its work culture. Be prepared to take late night PMO calls with offshore teams, cover up for the bull shit and be prepared to be isolated at work. Expect a lot of insubordination
Really why?
INdian bodyshop. They will pay you $5 and sell you for $20
Who is not bodyshopping you.. most big companies make millions per engineer if you notice. No one is really paying much as opposed to revenue per employee
Unless you are just burning vc money.
None of u responded to my original request.
Second hand info, so take this with a pinch of salt. Consulting is culturally similar to Outsourcing, perhaps you might not have to attend late night calls every night. Pay isn't very good, and your supporting cast from the Outsourcing org is likely to be useless. You might want to try getting into an independent consultant role that is not connected to a delivery target from the Outsourcing org to keep your sanity.
π©π©π© thank you
What do you want to know about their job bands- you want to get hired a job band 6a or higher. Or I would look elsewhere
Thanks
Worked at Infosys couple of years back. AFAIK Systems Engineer Senior systems engineer Technology Analysts Team Lead Project Manager Senior Project Manager Group Project Manager Delivery Manager Senior Delivery Manager VP.... For architects it goes in similar fashion senior architect etc etc.. Speaking from personal experience worst company I have ever worked at. They have little to no ethics and you will be better off with any other company.
Why would you ever want to work there
πππneed to pay bills !!
Their pay is sub-par. The company is hierarchical in nature. Don't expect big compensation jumps after joining. I know this doesn't answer your question but i can speak on behalf of someone i know closely who worked for them in India & came on a client project to US
