I end up spending an hour on medium difficulty in #leetcode .
I do end up with correct working solutions in the end but I have the habit on spending too much time thinking deeply about the problem.
I have recently tried rushing myself into a solution within 30 mins but that sometimes end up in me missing an edge case here and there. Occasionally I will rush myself into the wrong approach entirely.
Is taking my time and doing the right thing in 1 hour the recommended way to go forward in my prep? Basically prioritize correctness over speed?
Or is it worth timing myself under 30 mins?
What’s most effective strategy to prepare for #interview #engineering #software #swe ?

For reference this prep style got me Google as a new grad and I could do most mediums in under 30 min when I was keeping myself interview ready
