I had weirdest interviews at Salesforce. Applied through a referral to a position I thought was a perfect fit. Had a good conversation with the recruiter at first and passed the phone screen. The fun began at the virtual onsite where none of the interviewers came prepared. They were asking most random interview questions that I came across, ever. No system design, no coding rounds all random questions from a google search they did while I was answering. Whenever asked for a clarification for a question, i was told me make my assumptions answer to best of my ability.
After the entire process, I followed with the recruiter almost once every week for three weeks just to get a generic response as below. The recruiter didnโt even bother to put his name. I mean ffs. I know not all recruiters are bad but why majority are acting like car salespersons.

But Iโm amazed how the interviewers were so shitty. Which team/org/people did you talk to!?
