Hi my family and I are relocating from Seattle to San Francisco area, we have an elementary school age child and want to live in a neighborhood with good schools and diverse.
I looked on Greatschools.org, not sure how accurate the school rating are but they looked pretty decent.
Would really like insights on choosing a neighborhood to live. We would like to be able within 60mins or less on public transport to get to office in the city.
Husband will be commuting I will be WFH.
Total household TC: 600k

Foster city is beautiful with the best public elementary on the peninsula, but is full of Asians which white people don't like much. It's a great place to wfh from and super walkable and safe.
I recommend you take a flight, rent a car and visit the different neighborhoods. They all have a very different feel to them.
Also. Hit up the local erg. There's Asians, blacks, Hispanics, and every other community under the sun as a regional bay area erg. Talk to people there and get their opinions.
