Take as little from VCs as possible. And if/when you do raise from VCs, try to already have a product in the market with real returns. This will give you much greater leverage and you'll see much better terms.
I think this is spot on def. Hardest bit for me is proving to be the "how you are going to reach them". Cold emailing seems difficult without a recognizable name, and networking events have vanished due to covid. Open to suggestions
