So who has switched careers from marketing to something else they enjoy, with better comp and WLB? I'm in digital marketing in the NY tri-state area and not particularly thrilled with my current career path... Comp is ok...but moving up to a more senior level just means substantially more people management, kissing up, deck building, and bs. I'm more of an individual contributor and just want to keep my head down and get things done. I'm quite analytical and creative, and open the trying something different.. would love recco's! Have a family and not looking to go back to school FT, but open to taking a course or certification. TIA for suggestions! #marketing

Software engineering and data science are probably two paths you could explore without having to take a big pay cut and your comp would increase pretty quickly. I feel like WLB really depends on where you work.
It’s probably best to start from a place of what you’re interested in. Have any specific jobs jumped out as something you think you would like?
