Most gyms I go to are fully open , without any restrictions. PTON is toast. Down almost 80% in 6 months .
Doubly toasted
I think a lot of people will keep their subscriptions because it’s nice to have the option to work out at home and it’s fairly reasonably priced for what you get, but I’d say new orders will decline
I thought peloton was for the community
I’d only ever go to the gym because it was on the way home from work and the logistics/time made sense. Working out at home makes way more sense if I’m working from home though.
I love Peloton for its incredible instructors. None of my local gyms can match that.
Gym from home is still high value post Covid. Peloton has issues due to safety, their response to it and price. Nordictrack, ifit, etc are all viable options
I honestly never really got why people bought them in the first place. Just take a ride outdoors on an actual bike FFS
Or just buy a 3rd party spin bike for 1/3 of the money and the non-bike subscription for 1/3 of the money.
PTON is Peloton. Tost is Toast.
Don’t know. A lot of people love the convenience of a gym at home. In fact the number one reason why gym memberships go unused is because people can’t overcome the inertia to dress up and drive to the gym
